Murphy’s Law
Who is Murphy? Do you know Murphy? Does anybody know Murphy? I don’t know Murphy. Why is his law so prevalent?

The truth is Murphy is not important. He matters not. If I were to tell you who Murphy is you would view his law less significant. I will say that it originates in the military.
The only thing that matters is the law itself, and it is prodigious.
Here it is in a nutshell…

MURPHY’S LAW
“IF ANYTHING CAN GO WRONG, IT WILL.”

It is actually less of a law and more of a prophecy, although to insinuate Murphy a prophet is a bit of a stretch. It suggests what will occur and has been proven accurate over and over again and should never be dismissed or forgotten.

I’ve written a law of my own. I don’t know if it will get the acclaim of Murphy’s but at least you will know who wrote it.

Anything possible can be done incorrectly.
Anything not possible can only happen visually.

The, well-known doctor, Col. John P. Stapp, wrote…
Stapp's Ironical Paradox, which says,
"The universal aptitude for ineptitude makes any human accomplishment an incredible miracle."

I should like to say that all miracles are incredible so that word can be stricken from the paradox as unnecessary.
I should also like to say that any human accomplishment accomplished on the first try may be a bit of a miracle, yet over time and errors human nature will prevail as more of a platitude than a paradox.

I would imagine that Murphy is turned over in his grave as that seems to have been something that could have gone wrong.
