Not Me…This guy!

I used to think I was The King of Over-Thinking, but this guy takes the crown.

This is an actual headline, with a boring over-length article that I only partially read. From what I can ascertain this guy should not even last that long if he’s just sitting around thinking such tedious things.
To him I say, “Avoid the 75 Rush…Take the Bridge Today!”
I urge him to read the article and I am sure the end will be near.

I used to think 75 would be a good time to last until. That was in my younger days. Now I am willing to go as far as I can get. I am sure the last thing I’ll remember is something I’ll instantly forget. At least I won’t repeat it. I hope it will be nothing important like leaving the gas on or the water running. I will check those things on a daily basis till then.

I used to always leave the gas on when I was married but my Xwife by Marriage never took the bait. The best laid plans by mice and men…

Younger people fear what they will miss if they were suddenly smitten with a lack of life. I think as one grows older those thoughts are less important. At least they are to me.

I find myself sliding into something philosophical which I do not wish to do, so I will exit stage left, after saying the author of the article probably should pass away when he is ready, unless he keeps writing.
