ITALY OUTRAGED AS COURT FINDS VICTIM TOO UGLY TO BE RAPED

Italy, Earth…Italy's Justice Ministry has ordered a preliminary inquiry into an appeals court ruling that overturned a rape verdict in part by arguing that the woman who was attacked was too ugly to be a credible rape victim. The appeals sentence was handed down by an all-female panel.

I once reported on an old ugly woman who walked into a police station and said someone had raped her. I think she may have fit the description of the above victim because officers and detectives had their doubts, however she was filing a complaint so they had to oblige her at least until she walked out the door. They went through the motions of asking questions and filling out forms.

No, I did not see him.
You didn’t see him? How could you not see him?
He put a brown bag over my head.

I suggest the Italian Prosecutor look that case up.
