ANOTHER ONE BITES THE DUST

The now defunct AAF has faded into the sunset without realizing the power it has already invoked. CBS the Big Cheese in free TV was carrying a game today. It was to air before the two NCAA Basketball Final Four games. I had seen one other game previously on CBS and was looking forward to this one.

Alas, poor Yorick, I knew them well, Horacio yet now they are departed and I see them as bones in my hand. A skull rather dense but athletic and unrequited.

Obviously CBS was taken by surprise at their demise. The game was still scheduled long after the league broke their alliance. I would have thought a movie of some kind, or perhaps an exciting round of golf, or 21 Cartoons at the very least, would have filled the vacant time slot, but the brains of the Upper Echelon chose to run vintage footage of old NCAA basketball games, followed by agonizing commentary to this years NCAA Tournament, ahead of the Final Four telecasts.

I hope they don’t think anybody is going to watch that crap!


There is a movie on a different channel today.
The Driver
A master getaway driver is hounded by a driven detective in Los Angeles.

Do you suppose these guys read their own stuff?
Is the detective driven by the driver? Does he want the driver to drive him? Or did the driver drive the getaway before the detective was driven to the scene by another driver? Is the driver driving an Uber?

The Idiocrasy of The Aristocracy never ceases to amaze me.
