We had another

HOLY MOLY WE HAD ANOTHER!!!!!
When I say “Another” I mean Earth Quake.

We had another one at 8:30 pm, right during Gunsmoke. My couch is on a cement slab and it rolled like a coaster, (Kiddie Land). My blinds in the window frolicked like curtains on a South Sea Island. I thought I was having deja vu but I wasn’t. But I could have been? Not because I was on a South Sea Island, but because I was back in the middle of an EARTHQUAKE!

The last quake took me by surprise and I didn’t know what happened until the news came one. I called in and told them I had Eye Witness Video, but their lines went dead.

This time I was smart. (Don’t send me any emails, I’m still smart, that was just a figure of speech.) I waited 10 minutes to allow the news teams to wakeup, then shifted to NEWS!
They were already talking about the quake. I was going to take them a piece of my house but as luck would have it nothing fell off.

We’ve had two earthquakes in two days. Third time’s the charm, so they say. Someone said with earthquakes, the third one is THE BIG ONE!
Goodbye Cruel World!

As you may or may not know, I volunteer with The Red Cross on National Emergencies such as Earthquakes. If the Big One hits today, (as bettors are beseeching the betting books,) and my communications are severed, please try to contact me so I can deploy to The Red Cross and save myself.
If you are one of those trapped amongst the rubble…be patience we will get to you as soon as possible, if that’s possible? Or even probable? Or not.

Tomorrow will tell the tale. If we are all still here. If we are gone, please make sure the utilities are turned off.

If you run into Penwose, tell him what’s going on.

That was a fun ride. Made me remember the night when the sliding glass door at the end of my studio apartment was shaking and I thought that the wind was quite strong. And then, my cabinets were shaking! And all I could think of was where my clothes were so I wouldn't have to run outside naked.

You all keep safe now, ya hear? As if that snide remark will help you when the big third one hits. but don't kiss your ass goodbye yet. We all have short lives. That really big one may not come for a thousand years… Or tomorrow.

The Wholly Book of Genesis by Jay Dubya

The Wholly Book of Genesis is a humorous satire on the first book of the Old Testament where the Story of Creation, the building of Noah's Ark, Sodom and Gomorrah and the families of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob are thoroughly spoofed and broadsided.
