Coffee is my cup of tea

Headline
How Do You Learn to Be Happy Alone?’
This is obviously some sort of psycho babble better left for those not unlike Swigmon Fwad…I would say that is his cup of tea.

Coffee is my cup of tea…(Slogan from Einstein Bagels.)

I will say this, You may fool yourself, but you will never be happy alone…the trick is never desiring to be happy. Works for me!

Is Halloween over?

Last night I boarded up my house, (Only took one board?)…raised the drawbridge, turned off all the lights, (that reminds me I need to spackle a few holes in the walls,) finally stopped the nose bleed.

I cannot find my hidden cameras, but I know from peeking out of the blinds that not a single kid came to my house. (For those who wish to comment I know that all kids are single so save yourself some letters,)
I appear to be running out of quotation marks so I will pervert to something else.

Seriously, my estate was devoid of Trick or Treaters. A thought came to mind…maybe they were coming tonight, since it is Friday and no school tomorrow? Should I tear down the board or leave it up? The drawbridge can go either way as the reverse is just the opposite.

Then I found out they came last night…but not to my house. Oh Woe is Me!

It’s a good thing I don’t need to be happy.

Don’t get me wrong. I am not a Halloween Grinch. But even on past occasions when the streets were full of camouflaged rug rats, they all passed my house without as much as a single bell ring.
I had to eat the candy myself, which is not a good thing as I am too sweet already.

Penwose Out,

When I first moved here, I gave them apples. After a few years of this, they quit coming. Perhaps my little Pomeranian scared them. Our homeowners' association opened a Halloween party and I think they all go there, although there are very few kids on my street anymore.

Last Tuesday I took down my fence and gate to have it replaced. On Wednesday, some guys came and replaced the sidewalk, making it impossible to walk to the house or write their initials on the walk, because it was terribly cold and there was heavy rain.

On Thursday, the walk was finished, the fence and gate was still not replaced, and nobody came. I guess without the fence and gate, the kiddies thought that I was inviting them in for some diabolical reason. Yummy.
