On the psychological ramifications of sleeping alone

I am reminded of the recent publication, yet to be published entitled, Why Everyone Should Sleep Alone
On the virtues of splitting up for the night

As you know, due to my stature, I always receive books prior to their release, however why would I want to read this one?
The very nature of it all will put me to sleep.
It concerns sleeping alone.

I can do that! In fact I do it quite energetically. I even shower alone, shave alone, and brush my teeth alone. These are things better off done alone, even when one is not alone…except the shower thing.

Actually I do pretty much everything alone. If it were not for being alone I’d be detached or at the very least far fetched. If I wasn’t alone I’d have no one to talk to, except the “other person” who probably had no idea which way the conversation was going?

A whole book about sleeping alone…BORING!
A book about sleeping that was no doubt written while the author was awake. Therefore, how can he/she know what goes on when they are asleep?

The Devil’s Dictionary defines Alone as…In Bad Company.
So if you sleep alone, you sleep in Bad Company, and I have found Bad Company is usually quite clamorous so you probably will sleep very little.

In actuality sleeping alone is no concern while one is asleep. While one is awake he/she may feel the effects of being alone, yet the effects of sleeping alone are really unknown.

It only takes one to sleep alone, but it takes two to snore.
That’s right, It Takes Two To Snore.
One…never hears a snore.
A snore is only heard by The Other.
It also takes two to kick the other out of bed.
It takes two to tell the other to investigate a noise, or let the dog out.
Two are advantageous when you are the teller, however when the other is telling you it can be aggravating if not infuriating.
If you are in need of something to do, by all means read the book, otherwise sleep as you have been.
