I knew it was stupid!
STUPID CLOCK CHANGE
I didn’t get much sleep last night so bear with me.
I decided to “do it like they say,” and set my alarm for 2:AM.
I was asleep when the alarm went off. It must have been a deep sleep because I didn’t know where I was, who I was, what I was, or anything of that nature. I realized I must have been sleeping when I saw I was in bed.
This is the first time I changed clocks in the middle of the night so I guess I have an excuse. I’m a rookie resetter.
I have clocks all over the house but only changed my alarm and went back to sleep before I got to the point where I couldn’t. In the past I’ve found it to be a thin line.
My alarm went off and I woke up kind of groggy. I looked at the clock and it was 2:AM, time to change it. I did so almost without thinking, but thinking I did it before, almost as if in a dream. I fell back to sleep still in a daze.
My alarm went off at 2:AM and I awoke feeling weird. I wondered what was going on? I seemed to be in some sort of middle of the night GroundHog Day, (The movie not the event.)
I changed the clock and got up to take a squirt. All of this activity peaked my anxiety and I was unable to fall back to sleep.
My alarm went off at 2:AM. I was still lying there awake from the last time. WHAT THE HELL WAS GOING ON?
The whole night was like a dream, and I was in it? I got out of bed and went to my cell phone for the correct time. It was 6:AM.
WHAT THE HELL WAS GOING ON? I changed my clock again.
I knew I’d never get back to sleep, so I made a strong cup of coffee. At 7:AM my 2 O’clock alarm went off.
Then I figured it out. I went Back instead of Forward.
This is Spring, Spring Forward, Fall back.
The first time the alarm went off was 2:AM. I changed the clock Back to 1:AM, but I didn’t turn the alarm off.
It went off again at 2:am, which was actually 4:am. This kept happening until I finally got up.
This is the last time I’m changing my clock at 2:am.
I knew it was stupid!
