Not suitable for children of all ages.
The following may not be suitable for children of all ages.
History, although historical in nature, may not always be divulged as performed because of gruesome and nasty things we never talk about, better left unsaid.
For Instance…
Long ago, as Atlanta burned in the distance, Miss Katie Scarlett O'Hara vowed, “I will never run out of toilet paper again!”
In his journal, Captain William Bligh, of HMS Bounty, states that on his return from Tahiti, overloaded with breadfruit, things took a Turn For The Worst, when they ran out of toilet paper.
Pioneers crossing the prairie in covered wagons often found no toilet paper at dried-up water holes. Their wagons were attacked by Indians for toilet paper. Rustlers rustled their toilet paper. Road Agents robbed them of toilet paper. Gunfights ensued over toilet paper. Being quick with a gun meant noting to a man with no toilet paper. For obvious reasons a man with no toilet paper had no friends.
Today we see thriving communities all over the west that turned into ghost towns when they ran out of toilet paper.
These are just a few of the many things that show how toilet paper, or the lack of it, was instrumental in effecting our daily lives. It is no wonder it has disappeared from grocery shelves in hysterical fits of unrestrained psychotic binge buying.
The President has asked manufacturers to shift from things like manufacturing cars and stuff, to making toilet paper.
How history sees all of this remains to be seen. We all hope our supply of toilet paper is able to keep up with the demand.
If not, we are all going to become Very Embarrassed.
Penwose Out,
