This is how my life goes
By George The Saga Continues
So there I was, on Thursday, enough food for weeks, sitting at home waiting for the phone to ring for my heart surgery.
Phone rang!
It was a girl from the consignment lot where my RV is, telling me they went out of business and I have to get mine out by Sunday.
I went over yesterday. They lost my keys. There were keys all over the place, but not mine. A guy said he had them the day before when he tried to start mine, and put them on a ring.
Ding- a Ling, no ring.
I called Chuck and he said he still had my spare set. I went and got them.
Before I left, a guy said he’d buy mine for a tweetybird price…Cheap, cheap, cheap…better than nothing!
He left and said he’d come back…he never came back.
I left. I came back…after getting the spare keys and going home for the title.
I had the keys, but the RV wouldn’t start. We hooked up a jumper and it fired right up. I let it run for about a half hour to charge everything.
The Slide was not all the way in.
I had to let down the leveling jacks to move the slide. They all went down perfectly. I had to move the slide out, then bring it in. It went out smoothly for about a foot…then the whole coach shut down. Deader than two doornails.
I figured it was a fuse or circuit breaker, but couldn’t find any bad ones?
Last night I was aching all over!
The other guy said he’d meet me there today, which was tomorrow, when we talked yesterday.
He said he’d call. He never called.
I went to the lot. A guy from a lot in Pahrump was there to move some coaches to his lot. He got mine started. We got the jacks up, but the slide still didn’t move?
I told him if the other guy didn’t show up, HE COULD HAVE IT FOR NOTHING!
The other guy never showed up. I signed over the title!
So now I have NO RV TO WORRY ABOUT!
A BIG load off my mind!
