I used my proxy
Not to say they were lacking, while certainly not to say they were not, I decided to give my students at The University a bit of culture with their very own autographed Lobster Bibs.
The snotty, snooty ones, went home and told “Their Mommies” I was treating them “Like Babies.”
The Dean had me brought up before The PTA on charges.
I sent my proxy and went off to enjoy a nice dinner, with my “Good Students,” at The Lobster Claw, where we had a neat time of it.
The following Monday, Abner, who was neither here nor there, wore a shirt that was sort of a tank top, which covered nothing of his arms, while revealing an unusual tattoo.
I asked him, “Abner…”
“Who me?”
“You should have that on your chest.”
“I thought of it?”
“Why do you have ‘WOW’ written on your arm?”
“It’s not WOW…It’s MOM…I carved it myself.”
When things like this occur there is really nothing more to be said.
“To be honest, I’m glad I didn’t write MOTHER.”
