This is a comment on NFL Covid Protocols, which were too massive to include. Feel Free to Google them?
OBOY! Once again the NFL stands for Not For Long.
I looked at their new protocols…Very Interesting!
First I would like to say EVERYONE should look to The American Red Cross. We had over 450 volunteers deployed, with 0 covid cases.
If I may comment on the NFL procedures…
What’s with the whistles? Wouldn’t it be funny if they attracted a bunch of birds?…or police?
Why have we not heard of this “preventative” measure?
Who needs cheerleaders anyway if there is no one to cheer?
I wonder if they will use fake fans like baseball?
If so, cutout cardboard cheerleaders would be a nice touch.
Fake Fan Noise has become the norm. I would like to slip a Looney Tunes recording into the broadcast mix.
I feel sorry for the poor reporter who has to sit “Way Back” in The Front Row with binoculars. She should try doing the wave in the upper deck like everyone else. Give her a Terrible Towel to cry on.
This should be an interesting football season.

I'm not a football fan, but I watch my schools, local Texans and being born a cheese head, forever a Packer backer.
I've noticed that they have started off the season with the two most "popular" teams. I wonder if the Texans would even be there without JJ Watt?
I'm not going to waste my time with those protocols, but it seems to me that the NFL is rich enough to fill those seats with full-size monitors that fans could spend their excess Coronavirus relief money on just like sitting in the ballgame. Each monitor would have a camera (and microphone?) So they could get their view as well as the view offered by those of us who just watch it on TV. As a result like in AGT, the audience would be filled with real people watching in real time. With a little practice, they could even do a wave! And with speakers, the fan noise would be real. "Baby, would you go to the kitchen and get me a beer? Damn! When I was talking to I missed that play! Can I rewind this thing?"
But I suppose that maybe people would find it a lot easier than spending money on flights, hotel reservations, lost time at work, the weather and then a bad seat at the real thing with someone being obnoxious, spilling a beer on them, or worse giving them the virus… The one that is in vogue currently, and decide that they would go online and never go to a game again except on special occasions like the Super Bowl. Just think of the carbon saved from the atmosphere. Mind-boggling.
Deputy Dave Jenkins sets out to find the murderer of the local high school principal, aided by a voice from the grave that is sometimes helpful and sometimes misleading.
"Murder isn't usually this funny."
