What could cause such a delay?

AMAZON is apparently setting aside its fleet of big aircraft and big trucks and having their delivery professionals take public transportation to deliver their products? That’s the only thing that sounds reasonable.

Two days ago, 9 SEP, I ordered a medical ID bracelet, to let medical folks, who can read, know what was wrong with me. I realize that statement opened the floodgates, but please No Comments.

The bracelet required three lines of engraving which required a timely amount of time, with an estimated delivery date of the end of October, and even into November.

I figured the item had to be shipped back to China for engraving, after translation into English, which is my preferred language, even though they did not specify.

I mean, what else could cause such a delay, Right?

Today, 9-11 as I was trying to keep the events of that day out of my mind I received a message from Amazon saying my bracelet was shipped. Hallelujah! I will be able to justify my weird behavior!

NOT!

I looked for an amended date of delivery and found it to be unamended. How could that be?

How on Earth can my bracelet be floating around in the ongoing spectrum of delivery hell for over a month? Suppose they wanted to charge me Room and Board?

Judge Judy may hear of this?

It is rumored that Amazon has an Army of Winos making deliveries in less accessible areas. They stagger from alley to alley with their merchandize “Brown Bagged” along with their bottle of muscatel.
Inevitably my bracelet will come out smelling like grape juice.
