Is anybody watching, or has watched, Schitt’s Creek?
It is a Netflicks Canadian production, (Although nobody says EH,) aired several years ago for six seasons, now running on The CW.

It concerns a well-to-do family who are ripped-off by their, “financial genius,” and suddenly found penniless. They move to a town that the father previous purchased as a birthday joke for his son. They can live almost free in adjoining rooms at a sleazy motel.

It is sort of like something I would write, but isn’t.
I hope that does not deter you?

One of the things I like best about it is there is no Laugh Trak, so you will have to figure out the humor yourself.

The family consists of, an educated straight thinking father, a strange son, a “ditsy” daughter, and an unusual mother who makes it obvious where the “dits” comes from.
I put both in quotations so you can find the connection.

To give an example…
The daughter, Alexa, (No relation to the know-it-all who lives in a box,) is working at her new job at a vets hospital, (Animals not military.) I probably should have written veterinarian but I didn’t want to look it up.

She answers the phone, “Hello, How can I help you? Can I put you on hold?…and then does.

Moments later, her boss, with whom she was previously engaged, until she wasn’t, was questioning her lack of usefoolness…
”And look at the phone. There are three people on Hold, How do you explain that?”
She replies, “I don’t know…someone must have hung up?”
Now that is good humor!
For those of you who need a laugh trak to know what’s funny, “someone must have hung up?” indicates there were four or more people on Hold.

When you have nothing better to do, watch it. Out here in the wild wild west it aires at eleven PM, so there is nothing better to do than go to bed, and you can do that anytime.
