Is that not stupid?

Penwose Perdicament

The effects/affects of clock changes.
I already stated…
This is assuming you are reading it today? Please add another night for every additional day.
Last night I got up at 2 o’clock in the morning to change the clocks. Then I had to stay up an hour so that I could go back to sleep when I woke up.
Is that not STUPID!

The effects of such changes often go unnoticed, but not for me. My little world revolves around everything.

Last week I found myself almost out of Oatmeal, so I put it on my list.
When I got to Walmart Family Neighborhood Market I found out they were worse off then me. They had no Quick Oats! What a dilemma!

I usually buy Great Value Quick Oats. I like them because they are a great value. They had no Great Value oats of any kind.

Wait a minute, I lost my cursor. I’ll have to put you on hold.
There it is!

Now where was I?
Quaker had no Quick Oats either, but they did have regular oats. I found that better than no oats, and they were microwaveable, so I bought them.

The last oats of the previous canister coincided with the first day of November, being gone the last day of October.

I was already an hour behind and I had to open a new canister. I would have been giggly if I was not.

The lid was tight but easily gouged off.

What the devil lay before me…another lid?

Was this a Dr. Seuss thing?

The destructions said to, “cut the lid on one of the dotted lines if you want to pour, and pull the lid off at the indicated spot if you want some other way to get the oats out.” I pulled the lid at the spot indicated.

It was a plastic ring and very small. My fingers could not grab it, and when they did I was too weak to pull it off. I’m thinking it had something to do with the time change?

I decided I needed a pair of pliers. Is that not STUPID!

I got the pliers and latched onto the lid. It would not budge!

I was afraid I would spill the contents, but I pulled for all I was worth, and the lid stayed stable. I remember thinking Freshness should be abundant.

I looked closely at the lid and saw that it was attached to the cardboard of the container. Who the heck makes such a stupid lid?
I tried to separate them but nothing worked. Eventually I just pulled the lid and the cardboard until I could get into the oats.

They looked flaky?

I read the destructions. They were almost the same as the Quick Oats except I had to put them in the microwave for 3 minutes instead of 2.

No Problemo!

Big Problemo!

When the bell dinged, I opened the door and there were oats everywhere! They boiled over!

I boiled over!

I cleaned them up and ate the oats. They were flaky. I like the Quick Oats better.

The day wasn’t done!
The Steelers play The Ravens today in a big game. It is not televised locally, so I have to watch it on KODI.
BIG PROBLEMO…KODI stopped working. I don’t know why?

So I have nothing to do today but write this stupid stuff.

Penwose Out,
