My Way

Another instance of how I would have done things differently.
Item: West World

Famous throughout the globe, not just in the West, West World was the first of the Man versus Robot experiences.

I do not like to criticize, (or not?) but I see a major shock opportunity passed by, possibly because they were cautious of being Too Shocking, perhaps?
I doubt they missed it without being, (On purpose.)

Setting the scene…Yul Brenner, (A robot) once again confronts Richard Benjamin and James Brolin, who have killed him in the past. He is just a robot but I would assume he was tired of being slaughtered.
Benjamin and Brolin are experiencing Hangover Effects from the night before. Neither is in the mood, but Yul says, “Draw!”
Brolin says, “Let me take this one.”
They draw…Brenner shoots him…blood splatters…he grabs his wound and says, “I’ve been shot!”…Brenner shoots him again.
This was a shock because that was not supposed to happen, and nobody expected James Brolin to get killed.

MUCH less of a shock than it could have been however, because previously a man was killed in a sword fight in Medieval World, and other robots had been seen acting abnormally. So we knew something was up.

My Way…
I would have had everything working perfectly to the point where Brenner faces Brolin. Then, when Brenner shoots Brolin, it would have been a Major Shock!
Then we see the man in Medieval World getting killed, and everything takes off from there.

They sort of gave it away the way they did it.
