Ok, so I’ve set my sights on the next Olympics. I have 3 years to hone my skills as soon as I figure out what they are? If I cannot become championship caliber by then I am not who I think I am, and I think I am.
First I need to know what skills to hone and that will be determined by the events I enter. I contacted the Olympic Committee.
I suggested something swimming. After a series of questions I was told they do not allow anyone who is “part cow” into the pools.
I asked why?
They told me many of the swimmers, divers, and polo players, may be Lactose Intolerant?
I told them I was only part cow a little bit.
They said any amount cannot be tolerated.
That leaves out water sports.
They suggested Rings.
ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR EVER LOVING MINDS? Forget about Gymnastics altogether. Why do you think they’re called nastics…They’re Nasty!
They suggesting boating.
I don’t know how they even get into those little kayaks and canoes? I have a hard time getting in and out of a car. And how do you paddle a paddle with paddles on both sides? My right side is dominant. I’d be going around in circles.
Everything appeared to have built in stuff that I couldn’t do. It seemed as though my Olympic dreams were shattered before they began.
Then POW! It hit me in the middle of the night. I woke up with the answer…ARCHERY!
