President/Supreme Commander Dwight D. Eisenhower and General John Gavin

Northern Commander General John Gavin was one of President/Supreme Commander's Commanders who served in World War II.  General John Gavin had black southern soldiers to serve under his Northern Command because the Southern Command didn't serve in World War II.  General John Gavin also had Sicilians, who left Sicily to train under his Northern Command, because the Sicilians felt that if the Americans were willing to fight or die for Sicily, they would fight or die next to the Americans to save Sicily.  Benito Mussolini and his Facists, who believed that Facism was a religion and that the twentieth century would be known in history as the Century of Facism, had such a tight grip on Northern Africa, Greece, Italy, and Sicily that it was going to be nothing but none stop fighting to break the iron Facists military grip in Sicily.  So the black American soldiers from the South, the North, and the West, and  the black Sicilians served under the Command of Northern Commander John Gavin.  First they fought to clear the Facists out of Northern Africa, then Greece, Italy and finally in Sicily.
