When most children were concerned with recess more than anything else, Nichole Marceaux was practicing different tones and pitches with her voice, singing along to Keith Urban, Christina Aguilera and Celine Dion.

Born in Abbeville, Louisiana and raised in Nunez, Nichole Marceaux's earliest childhood memories include singing when she was two years old.  One of six children, her siblings helped her stay grounded while growing up by riding dirt bikes, four-wheelers and fishing in the pond in the backyard stocked with brim and bass. Although Nichole comes from a very close and supportive family, it is apparent to all who know her and have heard her sing that out of six children she has been given a special gift to feel music with her voice and transfer that emotion to her listeners. Nichole Marceaux's goal as an artist and as a songwriter is to make the listener feel the same passion she feels when she is singing a song, or the same way she felt when she wrote a particular song which will in turn touch their lives in a positive way.

Performing since she was 16, Nichole Marceaux placed in the top ten in the Colgate Country Showdown and has been featured on the front page of several newspapers; she has also made many radio appearances as well. These days, at 21 years old, Nichole's style can be described as Brantley Gilbert, Rascal Flatts and Carrie Underwood all rolled into one which recently prompted Grammy award winner Linda Davis, who is the mother of Hillary Scott of Lady Antebellum, to go out of her way to compliment Nichole on her voice.

When asked to reveal her favorite place to eat, Nichole, who is Cajun, responds with, "My Momma's kitchen."  Cajun cuisine is unique and spicy with plenty of ground cayenne and fresh black pepper.  Aromatic vegetables such as bell pepper, onion and celery are finely diced and added for flavor to meats, and seafood. Perhaps it's this Cajun heritage that spices up Nichole Marceaux's music style in a unique and fiery way.
