Eat real food. Laugh. Studies have found a number of benefits gained from laughing. Take a time-out.
Sharing Tips from a book I reviewed in 2005. Eat real food. Eat fruits and vegetables, and drink more water instead of filling up on sodas, sugar-laden juices, and other high-calorie drinks. If you don't believe that eating real food makes a difference try it and see - the more real food you eat, the better you will feel. Exercise. Move, stretch, breathe, do whatever you can. Laugh. Studies have found a number of benefits gained from laughing. Don't laugh at someone else - learn to laugh at yourself. Laugh your way to health, happiness, and cheer. Take a time-out. Read a chapter of a book. Listen to music. Count your blessings. Slow down. Make time for yourself. Enjoy your day, every day. Your time and energy should go to the people and projects you are most committed to. You'll never please everyone, so don't even try, but do try to please yourself and those you care most about. Give yourself permission to have some down time, even if it is time doing nothing at all. Limit the number of commitments you make when you can in order to have free time to do what you choose. Make the most of every opportunity you have. Remember, anyone can do what you do, but only you can offer your unique perspective; only you can be the best you. People will appreicate your efforts, and you will enjoy the benefits that come from your connections with a variety of people. Write down the compliments you receive so you can read them when you need a boost. Don't hesitate to ask for help or seek advice. Start your journal today. The author highly recommended you do. Adapt a healthier lifestyle. Susan Morem is the author of The 2nd Edition "How To Gain The Professional Edge."
