Stand, Apage Love, GIGO,Fear God, Rhema Word, Book Review.

Sharing from a book I reviewed. I would like to use the word "STAND" and at the end the book title and authors will be listed below the review. Apage Love: Sharing five scriptures listed in the book I was sent to review. Ephesians 5:25, Ephesians 5:28a, Ephesians 5:28b-29, Ephesians 5:33a, and Colossians 3:19. Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for her. ......... Epheisans 5:25 The Word encourages a wife to give her husband a positive, warm love in response to his "agape" love. GIGO, Garbage in, garbage out! Good in, good out. Good husbands are servants. They have great marriages because they have been nurturing their wives all along without understanding the free concept of headship. When a wife is disappointed by her husband's neglect, abuse, lack of concern and care for her feelings she gets sick. Her intellect gets sick. She loses her equilibrium. The authors of this book states they get mad when they hear a man tell his wife that she should "be a christian" regardless of how he treats her. Solomon did not resent or reject a woman's questions. Women are not perfect. They get stressed, too. What kind of man would want his wife to respect him because a book told her that she should? And as they went to tell his disciples, behold, Jesus met them, saying, All hail. And they came and held him by the feet, and worshipped him. Then said Jesus unto them, Be not afraid: go tell my brethren that they go into Galilee, and there shall they see me. ..... Matthew 28:9-10 Fear God. ............... I Peter 2:17 Rhema Word ... What About Ephesians 5:23-33? Tell Me Again! We are re-learning this passage with a desire to understand it in light of a new paradigm in marriage. This passage has been the foundation of teaching for those who believe that a wife is to submit to her husband's authority; authority that this passage is believed to bestow. A woman is taught that her husband is to be the final decision maker in the household. Her job is to submit to the leadings of her husband. We are priests -- royal priests -- Jesus Christ is the High Priest. Head is something a husband does: not a position. Head is a function of nurture, care and support; not a position of authority or rank. The devil is a deceiver and a pretty good one.
