Parable - a heavenly message with an earthly story.

An exhortation to promises, to praise God, A prayer at the removing of the ark; and to obedience; Happy state of the godly; A Psalm - song for the sabbath day; Majesty, stability, power, and holiness of Christ's Kingdom.

Psalm 68:1,17; Psalm 81:13,14; Psalm 89:21-23; Psalm 91:1,5,6,16,9,10; Psalm 92:11,12,13,14; Psalm 93:1,4,5

Verse 1

LET God arise, let his enemies be scattered: let them also that hate him flee "before" him.

"before" - from his face

Verse 17

Promise - V - Victory over Enemies and Trouble

The chariots of God are twenty thousand, "even" thousands of angels the Lord is among them, as in Sinai, in the holy place.

"even" - Or, even many thousands

HE that dwelleth in the ....... secret place ......... of the most High shall "abide" under the shadow of the Almighty.

"abide" - lodge

Verse 5

Promises - H, J - Health and Healing Promised; Joy and Peace and Rest Promised

Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day;

Verse 6

Nor for the pestilence that ..... walketh ..... in darkness; nor for the destruction ......... that wasteth at noonday.

walk - Psalm 143:8 - cause me to know where I should walk

Verse 16

With "long" life will I statisfy him, and shew him my salvation.

"long" - length of days

Verse 9

Promise H - Health and Healing Promised

Because thou hast made the LORD, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation.

Hezekiah turned his face to the wall and prayed when he was sick and God added 15 years to his life.

Verse 10

Promise A - ALL Things Working together for Good

There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.

Psalm 92:11,12,13

Mine eye .... also shall see .... my desire on mine enemies, .... and mine ears .... shall hear .... my desire of the wicked .... that rise up against me.

hear - discerning spirit, you can learn many lessons from various things but you have to weigh the good vs the bad/ugly.

Promise U - The Upright are Blessed and Prosperous

The rightous shall flourish like the palm tree: (You may read the entire verse Psalm 92:12)

Verse 13

Promise U - The Upright are Blessed and Prosperous

Those that be ... planted ... in the house of the LORD ... shall flourish in the courts of our God.
