Psalm 66:1-4, December 2007 Daily Bible Readings
Verse 1
MAKE a joyful noise unto God, all ye lands.
Verse 2
Sing forth the honour of his name, make his praise glorious.
Verse 3
Say unto God, How terrible art thou in thy works! "through" the greatness of thy power shall thine enemies "submit" themselves unto thee.
"through" - Psalm 18:44
"As" soon as they hear me, they shall obey me "the" strangers shall "submit" themselves unto me.
"As" - at the hearing of the ear
"the" - the sons of the stranger
"submit" - yield obedience
All "the" earth shall worship thee, and shall sing unto thee; they shall sing to thy name. Selah.
"the" - Psalm 67:3
Let "the" people praise thee, O God; let all the people praise thee.
(God is no respector of persons)
"the" - Psalm 81:6
I removed his shoulder from the burden: his hands "were" delivered from the "pots."
"were" - passed away
"pots" - Or, baskets

"fine" - Or, silk

Every man/men were/are the leading figure in their home - Biblical teaching.
Psalm 18:44 - Men/man they are in a leading position in the home, usually workplace, etc.,
Esther 8:15
And Mordecai went out from the presence of the king in royal apparel of "blue" and white, and with a great crown of gold, and with a garment of fine linen and purple: and the city of Shusan rejoiced and was glad.
"blue" - violet; the color blue varies in different shades and in different tones - from light to dark and from dark to light.
Proverbs 20:30
The blueness of a wound "cleanseth" away evil: so do stripes the inward parts of the belly.
"cleanseth" - is a purging medicine against evil
