Parable - a heavenly message with an earthly story
Deuteronomy 2:1,2,3
THEN .... we .... turned, and took .... our .... journey into the wilderness by the way of the Red sea, as the LORD spake unto .... me: .... and .... we .... compassed mount Seir many days.
And the LORD spake unto .... me .... saying,
Ye have compassed this mountain long enough: .... turn .... you northward.
Hebrews 7:20-28
Verse 20
And insomuch as not ........ without an oath he was made priest:
Real Life 101 --- what does this mean?
Verse 21
(For those priests were made "without" an oath; but this with an oath by him that said unto him. The "Lord" sware and will not repent, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec:)
"without" - Or without swearing of an oath
"Lord" - Psalm 110:4
The LORD hath sworn, and will not repent, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchizedek.
Verse 22
By so much was Jesus made a surety of a better testament.
Verse 23
And they truly were many priests, because they were not suffered to continue by reason of death:
Verse 24
But this man, because he "continueth" ever, hath "an" unchangeable preisthood.
"continueth" - John 12:34
The people answered him, We have heard out of the law that Christ abideth for ever: and how sayest thou, The Son of man must be lifted up? who is this Son of man?
Verse 25

Wherefore he is able to save them "to" the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth "to" make .... intercession for them.
"to" - Or, evermore

Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.
Verse 26
For such an high priest became us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, "and" made higher than the heavens;
"and" - Ephesians 1:20, 4:10
Which he brought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places.
He that .... descended .... is the same also that .... ascended .... up far above all heavens, that he might "fill" all things.
"fill" - Or, fulfill
Verse 27
Who needeth not daily, as those high priests, to offer up sacrifice, "first" for his own sins, "and" then for the people's: for this he did once, when he offered up himself.

Verse 28
For the law maketh "men" high priests which have infirmity: but the word of the oath, which was since the law, maketh the Son, who "is" "consecrated" for evermore.
"men" - Hebrews 5:1,2
FOR every high priest taken from among men is ordained for men in things pertaining to God, "that" he may offer both gifts and sacrifices for sins:
"that" - Hebrews 8:3,4
For every high priest is ordained to offer gifts and sacrifices: wherefore it is of necessity that this man have somewhat also to offer.
For if he were on earth, he should not be a priest, seeing that "there" are priests that offer gifts according to the law.
"there" - Or, they are priests

For it became him, for whom are all things, and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons with glory, to make the captain of their salvation "perfect" through sufferings.
"perfect" - Matthew 3:15
And Jesus answering said unto him, suffer it to be so now: for thus it becometh us to fulfil all righteousness. Then he suffered him.
