John Ishmael is one of my prayer partners and he faithfully shares updates on the ministry in India with me. I was most excited in October, 2002 when John Ishmael shared with me that he had invited an American Jew to India to help minister. On November 30, 2002 John Ishmael shared the prayer and ministry news with me on The American Jew Visit to India.

Greetings to you in the name of our soon coming King. The staff and the missionaries experienced God’s goodness during the month of November as we ministered to the people through personal evangelism, ministry of God’s Word through the Prophecy Meetings and through the Medical Ministry. The Lord has been faithful to us in every area of the ministry and we are so much grateful to Him. I wish to briefly share with you the ministry accomplished during this month. PROPHECY MEETINGS: The Lord enabled us to organize Prophecy Meetings, preaching the End Time Message in several parts of our country. Mr. David Chagall an American Jew the founder director of The Chosen Ministries was the speaker for these meetings. The Lord used him in a very special way to be a blessing to many people in our great land. Many who attended the meetings testified to us and to the local organizers that they never heard these messages at all on Second Coming. His main emphasis was “Jesus is coming soon and we need to get ready for His Coming.” In an amazing way he brought out the different events taking place in the world today and how these events are the fulfillment of the Bible Prophecy regarding the Second Coming of our Savior. Those who heard these messages were not only blessed, but they helped many people to prepare themselves for the return of our Savior. These meetings were held in Chennai on the east coast, Goa on west coast, Vijayawada in the southern part of our country, Shimla located on the hills of Himalayas in the north. The attendance for these meetings ranged from 100 people in Shimla, which is a huge crowd in the thinly Christian populated town to about 1000 people in Vijayawada. Though the meetings were planned and fixed in the north eastern Indian state of Nagaland which lies between the countries of Bangala Desh and Burma, we could not fulfill this commitment as we were not given the special permit which is needed to enter into this part of our country. It was surely a great disappointment both for the organizers and for us for not been able to fulfill the commitment of the ministry in this part of our country. Apart from these meetings for the general public, Mr. David Chagall also had the opportunity to minister to 125 pastors and Christian leaders in a half-day conference in Guntur. The pastors were challenged to not only take it to the heart the message of the End Times, but they went back from the conference with a commitment to preach and teach on the Second Coming in their own churches! We praise God for the wonderful, profitable and blessed ministry of Mr. Chagall in our country during the month. We look forward for more fruitful ministry of Mr. Chagall in the coming year if the Lord tarries. MEDICAL MINISTRY: A medical team from “His Healing Hands” who are also based in California accompanied Mr. David Chagall. Dr. Warren Frankel from California who was the main doctor and led the medical team assisted by Mr. Jeff Walker the pharmacist also from California and Miss. Magda Frunza a registered nurse from Romania. They came to India with nearly 100 kilograms of expensive medicines to be given away free to the patients in India! They went to the nearby villages and towns where the ministry was arranged for Mr. David Chagall. In each place where the medical camp was planned, before they actually examined the patients, they shared with them their reason to hold the medical camp. It is because they wanted to share with them the love of Christ, which was shown on the Cross. During their two-week ministry in India, they ministered to more than 1000 patients in the orphanages, to the Bible School students, to the truck drivers and to the general public. Several courses of expensive medicines were given to the patients freely. Apart from ministering to the patients, the team also had an active involvement in the evening meetings along with Mr. David Chagall. There were several occasions where Dr. Frankel shared his testimony before Mr. Chagall delivered the message. Dr. Frankel who also comes from a Jewish background has blessed and challenged the hearts of many people through his testimony. It was very impressive and a blessed thing to see two Jewish believers ministering to the Indian gentiles with their testimony and the ministry of the Word. In addition to this, the medical team was also seen praying over several individuals after the evening meeting. We are grateful to the Lord for the medical ministry during the month. MISSIONARY WORK: Every year in December we organize a Christmas celebrations in our mission fields. Since many of the non-christians have a wrong notion about Christmas, we organize these celebrations to share with our non-christian seekers about the true meaning of Christmas. We invite all the seekers from different villages and hold a Gospel meeting where the Gospel is shared on the occasion of Christmas. Please pray that the Lord would touch the lives of some of the seekers during this Christmas season so that they might open their hearts to invite Jesus into their hearts. We conclude the meeting with the fellowship lunch. It costs us US$ 200 for lunch and other expenses to hold Christmas program in each of the mission fields. Please pray that the Lord will provide the needed finances for the same. CHRISTMAS GIFTS: Every year we give a Christmas gift of US$100 for each staff and missionary family as Christmas gifts. Presently 8 families are working with us and so we are trust the Lord for US$800 as Christmas gifts. Kindly pray with us that the Lord will help us to meet this need. The responsibility of reaching out to 1 billion people heavily rests upon us Indians as no foreign missionaries are allowed to enter into our country.
