History attests to Muhammad's success and on the Day of Judgment Muhammad, peace be upon him, will be a witness before Allah that he indeed had delivered the Message to humanity; a Message of hope, goodness, beauty and light that will touch the heart of any mortal who desires to be close to his Lord and Creator.

I did not plan to write anything today. I had been fasting all day in preparation for the approaching Holy Month of Ramadhan which is due in less than 2 weeks. My intention was to take some time out from AD to read and finish the Qur'an in this coming blessed month and spend my time in silent contemplation and prayer. That is still my target, God-willing, and I'm saddened on behalf of all the brothers and sisters in Iraq and Palestine who can't afford a roof over their heads, let alone the luxury of silent contemplation in the safety of a home.
 

But before I take a break for Ramadhan I hope to share with you my reaction to a certain nasty writing that had left the hairs on my skin standing. The author who posted the inept LIES as an "article" is an anti-Islam, anti-Arab, anti-truth person. I’m not stooping to her level by paying her in kind. Nor will I reveal her identity; she is well aware of who she is and I will not embarass her in public as she already had done more damage to herself than any words that I can say. Whatever kicks she might have got out of posting such filth pales against the damage done to her soul.  Suffice it to say a lie is just that, a LIE and no amount of bad-mouthing a Holy Messenger of Allah will lend it credence, nor will such sad drivel make TRUTH disappear from the face of the earth. 

I invite those who wallow in such ignorance to ponder over what the Almighty Allah says about such foolishness:   

They desire to put out the light of Allah with their mouths but Allah will perfect His light, though the unbelievers may be averse (Holy Qur’an: 61:8)

And sufficient is Allah’s Word.

A Messenger of Allah is by nature an upright human being. Such an upright being is chosen by Allah from the cream of humanity. The Lord of this Universe is the Master of His Universe and there is nothing YOU or I can do about His plans. Needless to say, a Messenger’s mission is to deliver the Lord's Revelation to mankind and bring such as hearken to the Message by excercising their freewill, back to their Home and to where they belong: Paradise. 

Although sent to different peoples and at different stages in human history, the Prophets and Messengers of Allah have all experienced a common fate: they incurred the rage and fury of those who thrived best on injustice and sin. The children of Israel have had this unfortunate habit of opposing, mocking, and slaying God's Prophets. The Holy Qur’an is replete with stories of how poorly these Holy men were received by the people to whom they were sent. Why? Because they said: no god but God. That basically being the mission of any Prophet.

The Prophets of Allah said: Your Lord is One. You have no other god. Stop your foolishness and come back to your senses. But how did the bulk of humanity react to the Lord's mercy? They worshipped everything else under the sun, but the One to Whom they owe their own very existence. The trend is still continuing to this day and will continue to do so until the last day.

One need only look at what is happening in the world today to understand why such a simple message from the Creator to this creation of clay had proven to be so difficulty.

Having been met with resistance, harshness, stupidity, jealousy, envy, ridicule, mockery, attempts on his own life, you name it, persecution and killings of his followers, Muhammad had spent the better part of his Prophet-hood preaching that same simple phrase of: “no god but God”. A very taxing 13 years that ultimately drove him and his followers out of their homes and properties, with nothing to their names but a burning faith in the Oneness of Allah and the desire to worship Him alone.

In the Holy Qur'an the Prophet of Islam is described among other things as a lamp, a warner and as witness, O Prophet! Truly We have sent thee as a Witness, a Bearer of Glad Tidings, and Warner, and as one who invites to Allah's (grace) by His leave, and as a lamp spreading light. (Qur'an 33:46) 

History attests to Muhammad's success for in the span of just 23 years Allah had concluded His Message to humanity,
...This day have I perfected your religion for you, completed My favor upon you and have chosen for you Islam as your religion... (Qur'an: 5:3)

On the Day of Judgment, Muhammad will be a witness for the Muslims, and the Muslims witnesses for the rest of humanity, that indeed the Message had been delivered. A Message of hope, goodness, beauty that will light up the heart of any mortal who desires to be close to his Lord and Creator.
