I AGREE with President Asif Ali Zardari (Dec 31) that people the world over should spare a thought for the victims of Karachi’s Ashura carnage.

Suicide attacks on the Muharram processions in Karachi and Muzzaffarabad were meant to destabilise our homeland.

We should affirm our resolve as united people against the agents of Pakistan’s enemies, i.e. Taliban. We should not be afraid of saying ‘Pakistan Zindabad’ across the country.
