“The Voters of PPP should also support my point of view”
With reference to the report of the United Nations commission of inquiry into the facts and circumstances of the assassination of former Pakistani Prime Minister Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto. Pakistan People’s Party has decided(April 18, 2010) that every one who is responsible for the assassination of former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto should face appropriate legal action. Every one having improved sense of highly educated leadership’s importance will fully endorse the decision made by PPP because it will be resulted a punishment for those who not only killed the first Prime Minister of the Islamic World. But in my opinion they put the nation in great dangerous situation of instability. But it was only the wisdom of remaining PPP leadership that safeguards the country with golden words of Ms.Bhutto”Democracy is the best revenge”. She was a brave leader of Pakistan, who she never showed fear or any weakness to face terrorists and extremists, though she was well informed about their possible attacks and it was not hidden secret for her that extremists had disliking for her presence as a leading politician in the political ground of Pakistan. Her arrival in Pakistan was a great challenge for extremists and terrorists, because people of Pakistan were once again out of their homes only to listen the voice of their great leader i.e. Ms.Bhutto. She addressed the people of all provinces of Pakistan despite a big bomb blast of Karsaz Karachi. Ms.Bhutto was of opinion that terrorists and extremists should not be let to build barriers on the ways of happy life for her. Pakistan was not created by Quaid-i-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah for such persons like terrorists and extremists having no any respect for basic rights of people. It was the duty of the then government to provide adequate foolproof security to the daughter of the east but let me say that then government’s failure provided a successful chance to terrorists and extremists to gun her down. Assassination of Ms.Bhutto can not be called a “lost labour” because now another enemy of their cause i.e. Gen (Rtrd) Pervez Musharraf will face “appropriate legal actions” because he was named in the UN report as responsible for the assassination of former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto. (DAWN April 2010),and it will be cause of great happiness of terrorists and extremists because any how Gen (Rtrd) Pervez Musharraf was also the man who launched war against terrorism though he was also attacked by terrorists for several times but not received death like Ms.Bhutto.
To me, need of the day is only and only the war against terrorism without missing a single moment. I think our government should not engage with activities other than war against terrorism which required complete attention of government and its total organs including our intelligence agencies otherwise we will not win the war against terror. People of Pakistan particularly the voters of PPP should also support my point of view because our great leader Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto has further the cause of peace by paying her life, so now our national slogan of the day should be: terrorism and extremism are fatal diseases for the entire world, so first of all we should complete our fight against it because this would give the true meanings to the words of our martyred leader “Democracy is the best revenge”. Right now we should not involve ourselves in such activities other than war against terrorism.
