I had a lovely phone call last night from Stephen who read my first book and loved it. He and his wife arrived at the door one day to have his copy signed and so I let him know that the second book was out and he ordered it immediately from Amazon. It came yesterday and he took the afternoon off work to go home and read it. His word for it was 'Brilliant'. I was very pleased he rang because it is not so easy to evaluate your own work.
He was the third person to tell me how much he had enjoyed it, so I am feeling a bit more confident now about promoting it as much as I can.
I hope you will feel able to review it on Amazon for me if you enjoy it too! We have had quite a busy six years and the story of them are all in the book: cows and calves with problems, silly people who are supposed to help us with the paperwork and don't, accidents, travels and one calamity that almost put an end to our farming life, to say nothing of looking after my mother as well as studying for my degree.
