Little By Little

Little by little, the seconds slip by,

so why is it that time seems to fly?

Little by little, life happens so fast,

viewing in mirrors, all that’s past.

Little by little, each moment is new,

each one can hold, a dream for you.

Little by little, a day becomes night,

yet tomorrow always sheds new light.

Little by little, our children do grow,

to become our legacy, don’t ya know.

Little by little, life gives us a taste,

of what is good and what is a waste.

Little by little, we program our lives,

to live in a world full of compromise.

Little by little, most will fall in love,

as if floating on clouds high above.

Little by little, there is much to learn,

much to experience, no time to burn.

Little by little, we will finish our book,

we hope the sequel, is well worth a look.
