The Agreement
I will want you, but I will not need you.
You are not my crutch. I am not yours.
Therefore, I would rather 'want' you than 'need' you.
Hopefully we want to be each others Soul Companions, the counterbalance to each other, in our individual Life Journeys.
I would happily be your warmth at night, the smile that lights your day, the ear the doesn't just listen but actually hears the unspoken as well. The one who shares the Divinity of Sexual Intimacy with you. The person who knows & accepts your fears, champions your hopes, & the one who believes in you beyond reason, expectation or evidence. Who accepts your Journey as your own choosing & respects the Lessons you create for yourself.
To be with me, you must want the same, for me, and for yourself!
Then there will be no need, for need, because wanting will be the All!
When we need, we are saying, 'what I have from you is not enough'
When we want, we say 'here, with you, is where I want to always be!.
Any person who needs to feel power over a another is weak. A person who respects another's personal strength, and wants to harmonise their own personal strength with that, is the truly empowered!
I am a person who does not need another to feel less empowered, for me to feel my own Worth. I respect Strength and Truth of Self in others. I cannot myself be fully Empowered by disempowering another.
I will walk in Strength beside your Strength. I have no need to take yours from you. I will not give my own away.
If I want to be Alone, it is not that I want to be 'without' you. Its that I want to be 'with' Me. When I have Time alone with Myself, I am a better person when I am with You. There is no judgement of you in this. It is my self awareness that as an individual, I need to be alone at times, to be the best version of myself. If you are able to be with me in my Silence, Thank you. If you need another journey at that Time, be Blessed by it. I am ok. We are ok. If there is something you need from me in your Alone time, please tell me. We will honour each others Space.
I do not require you to complete or fulfil me. This is my responsibility for myself. I do not need you to make me happy. I am already, inside. I would hope, that we find a peaceful joy in co-journeying together. That the beauty of Life is magnified by our togetherness. If it should ever become otherwise, I will accept that our togetherness is completed, and that it is time for our separate journey to commence. I will also always focus on our growth in harmony, trusting that that separateness will never be required.
This is The Agreement I make with myself, and therefore with you, precious Soul Companion.
