We as humans want the oppurtunity to seize control, whether in crisis or just the want of controlling. Despit wherther are listened to or not, when we aren't, we demand the authority, the control and obviously react with a form of intimidation (anger) ; a dominant authoritarian emotion. But the defiance that is shown in that situation allows a sense of first awe, just for the reaction occuring, then respect for performing the act. Having the nerve to perform this act emits a sense of respect, depending on the cause. Prime example; the historical acts of civil disobediance, Mahatma Gahndi, Nelson Mandela, Ralph Waldo Emmerson, Martin Luther King, all of those people are true examples of leaders in civil disobediance, defying society provoking anger, but given respect to take that step, looking at these acts alone makes this quote, a raw fact.
