Friday, October 29, 2010 from 2pm to 6pm there will be a family Halloween night for children 12 and under. All events will be at State Street and the Capitol Square near the State Historical Museum.
Businesses around the capitol square are participating and children can visit them to get a treat. Look for the “Family Trick or Treat – Stop in Here” sign at the participating businesses. You can also download a map of participating businesses at www.visitdowntownmadison.com. Maps will also be available at the Children’s Museum now at 100 N. Hamilton St. or the Downtown Visitor Center at 452 State Street.
Hay rides sponsored by Madison Parks will be available on Friday, October 29, 2010 from 2pm to 6pm on the Capitol Square. Pick-up and drop-off will be on North Carroll Street near State Street. Rides will last approximately 20 minutes and are $2.00 per person. No reservations are needed. For more information call 608.266.4711.
Continue your Halloween fun at the Madison Children’s Museum from 6pm to 8:30pm for Beakers and Broomsticks. There will be spooky science many Halloween surprises. For tickets go to www.MadisonChildrensMuseum.org.
