Troy Gardens (also known as Community GroundWorks) has found a way to put fun into fundraising. The online auction includes Troy Gardens and several other non-profit organizations in the Madison community. The auction began October 14 and runs through October 24th.

The mission of Community GroundWorks is to grow organic food for local tables, to cultivate diverse living community and to nuture the relationship between people and the land. There are a variety of options for supporting Community GroundWorks. Of course there are cash donations; workplace giving through the Community Shares’ workplace giving campaign; community CHIP by shopping at the Willy Street Co-op a portion will go to Community GroundWorks; stock and securities gift allows donors to avoid capital gains and receive a tax deduction; a gift annuity and planned giving.
