The 175-page book is complete with bibliography, list of websites, index, cartoons, and tables. The book is on lecturing methods, primarily classroom, and some practical experiences. The book is of ten chapters, each chapter can be 'one lecture'; i.e. the book could be taught in ten sessions.
Author(s): Kate Exley is a consultant and tutor at the University of Nottingham. Reg Dennick is Asst. Director of Medical Education, Univ. of Nottingham.
Availability: Through British Library networks.
Readership: Meant to be extra-reading for adults, advanced undergraduates, and professionals and lecturers.
Competition: Could I write the same book? Could I write a similar book differently?
Strength: The book appers to be "too obvious" ---- more often than not, no one writes books on topics that are too obvious and trivial!
Weakness: Presentation could improve.
