I approached the seemingly deserted community with caution. Every fiber of my being was telling me to turn and run away from this place. Even the white wolf and the rest of the pack seemed to sense the strange energy coming from within it. Tugging at my hand with his mouth and whimpering nervously the white wolf tried to pull me away from the encampment.
Morning came quickly on top of the mountain. I looked down at the glowing remains of the campfire, the memories of last night’s vision still fresh in my mind. The great chief‘s words of wisdom burned, like the glowing ambers of the campfire, that I now extinguished. Why would the ancients of old come to me and warn me, telling me that I should not go down to the cove? What was down there that they did not want me to find?
