Make a darling li'l tree for your favorite maestra.

I had four artificial pine trees from last year's post-Christmas sale, and I wanted to give one to several of my friends at school. 
 

How to deck the tree?  I couldn't find the exact appropriate tiny ornaments.  What does a teacher have on hand?  I found a pack of colorful erasers, rubber coated colored paper clips, and chenille stems.  I linked the clips into a chain.  I simply put the erasers on the end of the branches, where they perched like lights.  The chenille stems I twisted around a pencil to make squiggly garlands.  Ta-da!  A cute and easy tree.  I also twisted the paper clips around mint candies to hang.
