How often do you express a sense of gratitude for all the blessings in your life and even the challenges, which in the end help you to grow stronger?

Decide today to take an interlude for gratitude...

AN INTERLUDE FOR GRATITUDE

As we avidly pursue our goals, it is very easy to become task-oriented and neglect to rejoice over milestones we have already achieved. We may forget to show appreciation for what we have, or overlook the important aspects of our lives. A heart of gratitude is an invaluable asset in finding contentment.

Express gratitude for:

God: Who loves us unconditionally, in spite of our faults.

Direction: Knowing where you are going and how to get there. Family: Who provide love, understanding and support.

Gifts/Talents: Every workman needs the right tools to get the job done.

Friends: They may not always tell you what you want to hear, but they are willing to tell you the truth.

Foes: They cause you to be grateful for friends.

Health: Don’t take your health for granted.

Life: With all its facets, avenues and intricacies.

Resources: Be grateful for your source of supply.

Wisdom: The presence of mind to make good decisions.

Yesterday: The lessons learned: what you have learned to cherish, and what you have learned to avoid.

Today: This is a new day and you can try again.

Tomorrow: For there is hope beyond today.

Challenges: They allow you to grow and discover new things about yourself.

Sunshine: A reminder that there is a bright side somewhere.

Freedom: For living in a free country and being free inside yourself.

And the list could go on and on. Today, take the time to jot down some things for which you are grateful. Take an INTERLUDE FOR GRATITUDE.
