And he said to her, “there is not another vessel”

So the oil ceased. 2 Kings 4: 6

How many vessels can you put out to gather cash? If you have only one channel of revenue to flow into your life – then you’re limiting yourself. Let’s say that the woman and her sons gathered 100 vessels and the oil poured out to fill all 100 vessels and then stopped when she ran out of vessels. What if the woman had gathered 1000 vessels? Then the oil would have filled 1000. I don’t know about you, but if I were the widow and her sons, I would be wishing I had found a way to gather more vessels! The widow literally controlled the amount of oil she had to sell by how many vessels she and her sons had gathered.

You too, control the flow of financial prosperity by what you are willing to do and how far you are willing to go.

How many blessings are you missing out on because you have never set out enough vessels? God is unlimited! You control the blessings you receive by your willingness to ask, to seek, to accept help from others, to act on faith, and to take the right steps.

So go out there and find more vessels!

Don’t limit God’s ability to provide supernaturally. Through the Prophet Elisha, God was going to provide a financial harvest for the destitute widow. But it was limited by the number of vessels the woman and her sons could gather.

Your present financial status is based on the number of vessels you have been able to present before God. If you are broke, it means you have not gathered any vessel. If you have little money, it means you have gathered but a few vessels. That is the gospel truth!

I read about one of the fastest growing churches in America. Their secret is that they have over 180 outreach ministries. That is their secret; several empty vessels.

THE KEY TO ABUNDANCE

We live in abundant universe in which there is sufficient money for everyone. Plenty of money is available to you. You can have virtually all you really want and need.

You become wealthy because you believe you have the ability to become wealthy. Because you believe this completely, you act accordingly. You will consistently take the necessary actions that turn your beliefs into realities.

The number of vessels you are willing to gather shows your level of faith for financial prosperity. 

MAXIMIZE THE MOMENT

Maximize every opportunity. Make proper use of today. Each season has its opportunities, so maximize it. That relationship has its opportunities, maximize it. That business has its blessings, maximize it.

Have you ever missed an opportunity? You know the ones that you felt could have made your life different than it is now. Never again in the woman’s life did she experience the miracle of multiplied oil.

When your moment of opportunity comes, are you ready to maximize the moment? Will you create a place that will allow you to utilize your God-given gifts to fulfill your Divine purpose?

Many of us have experienced the pain of rejection, failed relationships, and having to start over and over. However it doesn't have to remain that way. God has equipped you with every spiritual blessing in the high places so it is up to you to realize what your gifts are in order to make the most of your opportunities when they arrive.

A young man has this to say: “As I entered a place to seek for employment, I was approached by a man who complimented me and said I had the greatest smile. It turns out that he was the general manager and he hired me on the spot - and insisted that I take a front desk job because I had too nice of a smile to hide behind the scenes”.

"One of life's greatest tragedies is to arrive at the end of your journey and realize you could have done more, laughed harder, played more intensely, and lived more vivaciously if only you had taken the day by the throat and steered it the way you wanted it to go, if only you had made a conscious decision about what you wanted to do."

SEIZE THE MOMENT AND CHANGE YOUR LIFE

Two men with the Nigeria Air force went to Czechs Republic for training and during the course of the program, the admission letters for an aviation school they had applied for in the United States of America arrived at the Force Headquarters. It was forwarded to them in Czechs Republic.

One of them decided to go for the aviation school from Czechs Republic but the other guy said that he wants to come back and bid farewell to his people in Nigeria. Unfortunately, this guy could not make it to the aviation school in U.S.A.

Hear the concluding part of the story. 10 years after, officers from the Nigeria Air force were at Murtala Mohamed International Airport for an official duty and the man who could not go for the aviation school was there with his insignificant rank. The other guy was now a chief pilot with Cameroon Air Ways. He saw his old pal and recognized him but his old pal could not recognize him because he is living in affluence. He called his old pal who was still battling with his low ranking in the force and introduced himself. He shared his success stories and attainments with him.

His friend who could not seize the moment died after a month because he saw the position he could have attained but missed it because of he could not maximize his moment. May you not experience such in Jesus Name!

TAPPING THE UNTAPPED POSSIBILITIES

So you think you’ve taken your projects as far as you can? You think you’ve exhausted the market? You think you have all the answers on religion, philosophy and psychology? Wait a minute! When you think you’ve exhausted all possibilities, remember this – you haven’t!

There are untapped possibilities around you now. There are opportunities right before you, unexplored.

There is a beautifully story in Luke 5:1-8 about Peter and his partners fishing all night. In the morning the Lord asked. How is fishing” Master, we’ve fished all night and caught nothing! This was their weary reply.

“Go out into the deep and throw out your nets,” the Lord directs.

They had every reason to doubt His advice. After all, they have been fishing all night. But by faith they threw in the net once more; and this time the Lord of harvest decided to bless their efforts. 

The oil of your prosperity will never stop. There is abundance for you! Begin to enjoy an ever increasing prosperity. Amen!
