First Person Historical Perspective

Since the end of WWII you and I have enjoyed living in an era of unprecedented prosperity and plenty. This era was created by the, “…strength of the American economy and protected by the projection of American power…”*

Now, because our economy is weakened and our ability to project power is being willfully diminished, the Middle East is descending into chaos and war, the world’s economies are failing, nuclear threats arise from rogue nations and this era is coming to an end.

America is a great nation at risk in a dangerous world and is being attacked by enemies both foreign and domestic. Our economy is faltering, our energy and food distribution infrastructures are obsolescent, our civil society is being “Occupied” and our politicians are unwilling or incompetent to make the hard decisions necessary to correct the situation and restore the America that the world needs for peace and prosperity.

You and I have the advantage of first person historical perspective, which is sometimes called “wisdom.” Think back to your earliest memories, add what you know about history and look at the financial condition of your adult children’s generation; do you see a rosy future for them and your grandchildren?

Do you see a strong, vibrant and resilient national economy capable of withstanding serious shocks; or do you see an economy teetering on the brink of disaster, staggering under the weight of intolerable debt, ripe to be taken down by any one of many foreign and domestic threats, which would plunge your grandchildren into poverty and hunger?

When it happens it will be neither Armageddon, nor the end of the world as we know it, but the beginning of an era for which there is historical precedent, as recent as within the lifetimes of your own parents or grandparents. It is in fact, already happening and when the economy collapses this time, the National Electric Power Grid and/or the food supply chain is likely to fail and life in America will become far harder and darker than it ever was during the Great Depression of the 1930’s.

Are your adult children preparing for your grandchildren’s survival during the initial, most dangerous and chaotic first year of the coming depression? If your adult children are not preparing for your grandchildren to survive until order is restored and commerce resumes, you must buy Survival Gear, Long Term Bulk Food Storage, First Aid Kits and more because if you do not, who will?
