The “#Occupy” Insurrection and Your Family’s Survival

PAST RIOTS WERE LOCALIZED AND CONTAINABLE.

We have seen riots and looting in cities all over the country, for reasons ranging from perceived injustice in Los Angeles, a sports team losing a championship in Detroit, the aftermath of a natural disaster in New Orleans and just last year the “#Occupy” insurrection in New York, Oakland and cities nationwide, fomented by those who want to “transform” America.

All of those events had elements in common, with the exception of the “#Occupy” insurrection, they all remained localized, were contained by authorities and subsided naturally. 

In the Los Angeles riots, food remained available because the food supply chain had not broken down, water continued to flow and the lights remained on because the National Electric Power Grid had remained intact. The sports riots, which were a combination of simple criminality and mob-rule mindlessness, were quashed by the effective application of power.

In the aftermath of hurricane Katrina in New Orleans, we saw actual breakdowns of both the Grid and the food supply chain, which resulted in riots, looting and lawlessness. As horrifying as the situation became the problems remained localized because the government did, however inefficiently, provide relief.

COMMUNITY ORGANIZED INSURRECTION.

Events here or abroad, which cause collapse of the national economy, wide spread breakdown of the Grid or disruption of the food supply chain would spawn riots and looting in cities nationwide.

As it becomes apparent that government can neither provide relief nor restore order, the hooligan types of the sports riots, elements of the inner-city entitlement class and organized anarchists will join forces and foment insurrection under the “#Occupy” banner.  

This axis of disaffected “Community Organized Transformers” will become marauding mobs, which will disrupt civil society and steal the food and anything else they need or want, anywhere they find it. Government will be impotent or unwilling to stop them and disinterested in protecting those from whom they are stealing. Powerful politicians will turn a blind eye and refuse to condemn them because they see the movement as “fellow travelers” and a constituent population.

THE “#OCCUPY” INSURRECTION AND YOUR FAMILY’S SURVIVAL.

We the People have the God given and constitutionally guaranteed right to keep and bear arms to defend our families, our property and ourselves. The framers of the Constitution enshrined this right for exactly this reason; the need to exercise it has never been more real than now, in light of the “#Occupy” insurrection.

 “#Occupy” and those who support it by word or by deed, have neither respect for law nor regard for property rights.  They call for “economic justice” which means taking from those who are prepared and keeping what they take for themselves.

What they have planned for this year will make last year’s insurrection look like child’s play. They have much broader backing from diverse Left Wing Organizations and financiers. They have solidified their support in the media, academe, trade unions and the current administration. They feel empowered by the reluctance of local, state and Federal law enforcement agencies to stop them, and they will destroy property, break the law, loot and plunder with impunity.

Their stated goals are to replace American Free-Market Capitalism with a Government-centric command and control economy; and to rewrite the U. S. Constitution so that our Rights are not “God given” but Government granted. They see America as the cause problems and poverty in the world, flawed from her founding and needing to be “…Fundamentally transformed…” into their “Progressive” nirvana where everyone is equal in Socialist misery.

HOW DO I PROTECT MY FAMILY?

Your family relies on you and you must be prepared to rely on yourself when they come to your house to impose “economic justice”. It was only the force of your will that got you prepared to survive; it will be 

         only your will and the wise application of force that keep you prepared. 

Trying to defend against an attacking mob by your self will be extremely difficult or tactically impossible. The best way to defend your family is to help your neighbors and extended family defend theirs. This will necessitate a clear-headed assessment of your tactical situation and formation of an alliance with trusted, like-minded people for mutual assistance and defense.

Choose these people carefully; you will be relying upon them to come to your assistance, just as they will rely on you. Plan where your combined fallback position is to be if it’s not to be your own home. Discuss the dangers with your family, make a rendezvous and evacuation plan, explore alternate escape routes out of town and agree on methods of communication, which do not rely on cell phone technology. 

There are too many options to speculate about and only you can determine what is best for your family. You must take the initiative; Buy Survival Gear, Long Term Bulk Food Storage, Survival Kits and More. Be well armed so you can defend all of it and realize that the rules we live by now will have changed. No one will protect you and only you will be responsible for protecting your family. If not you, who?
