I never knew that I can be able to lain how to operate computer in two weeks, until I mate some group of men in a seminar who told me that I can even do it in one week. I was shocked when they told me this, just like you are now. But they were able to make me to believe that, by given me this example: they told me that whenever am moving on the road with my two legs, whether I like it or not, if I move the first leg, the second one must follow. To prove that to me, they went as far as telling me that they will teach me how to operate a computer in two weeks. I taught they were joking, but it was a remarkable experience to me that by the time they were through with me, I realize that indeed it’s only deepens on one step. Not only that, they went on and told me that what they taught me today was done because they believed they can do it.

I don’t know if you still have daunts in your mind that some things are not possible. If that is your case, then let me introduce a man that will remove that taught off your head. His name is “David J. Schwartz” the author of “the magic of thinking big.”

He said the following when he was talking to some group of people in a seminar who has the same thought as yours.

Then the other cut loose: “All order will break down if we didn’t have jails.” “Some people are born criminal.” “If anything, we need more jails.” “Did you read in this morning’s paper about that murder?”

And the group goes on, telling me all sorts of good reasons why we must have jails. One fellow even suggested we’ve got to have jails so that police and prison guards can have jobs.

After about ten minutes of letting them “prove” why we can’t eliminate jails, then I say to them. “Now let me mention here that this question of eliminating jails is use to make a point.

“Each of you has come up with reasons why we can’t eliminate jails. Will you do me a favor? Will you try extra hard for a few minuet to believe we can eliminate jails?”

Joining in the spirit of the experiment, the group says, in effect, “Oh, well, but just for kicks.” Then I ask, “Now, assuming we can eliminate jails, how could we begin?”

Suggestions come slowly at first. Someone hesitantly say something like, “Well you might cut down crime if you establish more youth centers.”

Before long, the group which ten minutes ago was solidly against the idea, now begin to work up real enthusiasm.

“Work to eliminate poverty. “Most crime stems from the low income levels.”

“Conduct research to sport potential criminal before the commit a crime.”

“Develop surgical procedures to cure some kind of criminals.”

“Educate law enforcement personnel in positive methods of reform.”

These are just sample of the seventy-eight specific ideas I’ve tabulate that could help accomplish the goal of eliminating jails. WHEN YOU BELIEVE, YOU’RE MIND FINDS WAYS TO DO.

This experiment has just one point: When you believe something is impossible, your mind goes to work for you to prove why. But when you believe, really believe, something can be done; your mind goes to work for you and help you find the ways to do it.

Believing something can be done paves the way for solutions. Believing something can’t be done is destructive thinking. This point applies to all situations, little and big. The political leaders who do not genuinely believe permanent word peace can be established will fail because their minds are closed to creative ways to bring about peace. The economists who believe business depressions are inevitable will not develop ways to beat the business cycle.

In a similar fashion, you can fine way to like person if you believe you can.
You can discover solutions to personal problems if you believe you can.

You can find a way to purchase that new larger home if you believe you can.

Believe relisiese creative power. Disbelieve puts the brakes on.
Believe and you will start getting ideas.

Your mined will create a way if you let it.
