The Astrological Attributes of Peace

It is September 9, 2013 – a notable day given the degree of angst that is pervading the world’s psyche. The focus of this angst is an expected vote in the United States Congress to go to war with Syria, due to the suspected use of chemical weaponry. The tone of conversations that I am privy to, and that of the media is severely serious. Questions abound: “What will happen if we do not?” “What will happen if the vote is yes?” and, “What is the right action to take?” Often one hears, “There really is no good decision, only the best of bad ones.” At present there is some hope that the weapons might be able to be held somewhere other than in Syria, thereby lessening the chances of a direct confrontation. Not knowing the outcome, I believe this article at the very least supports more positive thinking.
In general, I believe that what is needed is to be able to frame the debate from a more creative perspective. “Soften the debate,” my inner voice says to me, “Look for other options,” goes my internal guidance system, and “Find a way, there is always more than one way to solve a complex issue.” Who am I to be a part of the debate, one might say, but then again, why shouldn’t I be? I sincerely care about the many children that have been affected, and their families that have been thrown into chaos. It is my belief that we are all worthy of peace, everyone, in every country. The challenge is that we seem to have lost our way toward finding peace’s shore! I’d like to share an astrological perspective on how to reach the other side…albeit this is from the depths of my own personal creativity, however, all loving intentions hopefully will find a way to eventually manifest.
