John Lennon Music Bus and Me!
Picture of Franz Schubert
I am an artist 1000% and
recently when applying for a "normal" job to make money for much needed dental work, the person interviewing me asked what the favorite job I had ever had was. Quickly I answered,
"Being an actress for the John Lennon Music Bus that was teaching filmmaking to young students. I auditioned and got the role playing the Mother of a Zombie! And I created my Zombie son in a laboratory in a petri dish. But my son had no friends."
After I said it I realized that was probably not the kind of job they wanted to hear about!
Yet art has consumed me and if I were doing a nine to five job I would never had done any art!
Franz Schubert; the famous classical composer who wrote the beautiful song; 'Ave Maria' died at age 31, homeless and penniless with only his symphonies scattered around him. He was buried next to Beethoven and is now considered to be one of our greatest classical composers.
Letters Schubert had written his father were found after his death. His father had urged him to get a regular job and Franz Schubert explained to him that music was pouring through him so fast he was having a hard time writing it all down and had no time left for anything else.
Being kind and gentle to others is my goal as I never know what they are going through!
