Picasso's Mistress; Francois Gilot!"

Picasso's mistress; Francois Gilot art was displayed in a La Jolla California gallery where she was having a one-woman show the following night.


I attended the show and met Francois Gilot and her then husband; Dr. Jonas Salk, the inventor of the polio vaccine

and creator of The Salk Institute in La Jolla, California. 


Francois invited me to her house where she was having a private artshow the following night.


I went and had a wonderful time. Her art looked like Picassos to me and from his enormous and increasing fame, thats a great compliment! 


Picasso and Francois Gilot helped make our art world more exciting and it was great fun meeting his extremely famous mistress; Francois Gilot and her husband Dr  Jonas Salk, creator of the polio vaccine!
