"Buzzy Dying at age 28  Finishes Masters from Hospital Bed"

My friend Lori said;

"Hope you get to know Buzzy.  He is a molecular biologist and has Cystic Fibrosis.  Buzzys younger brother died at age eight of the disease.  So Buzzy is trying to find a cure for it before he dies.  Usually Cystic Fibrosis kills people by the age of 28 and thats how old Buzzy is.  He is in a hurry to finish his masters thesis."

Lori had ceberal palsey and a boy she had a crush on married someone else. Lori often got fantasy crushes but this one was taking its toll on her emotions.

When I was visiting Lori who was sobbing hysterically over the upcoming marriage of the person she just knew would marry her, she called her friend Buzzy.  

When I opened the door, Buzzy was carrying a bird in a cage and set it down by heartbroken Lori.

Lori opened the cage door to pet the tiny bird who flew out and was wildly flying around the room.

Buzzy had brought a miracle to Lori as the little bird had taken Lori's attention from her broken heart to trying to capture it!

I watched the patience of Buzzy and his deep love for Lori and knew this was about as near heaven on earth I might ever be. When you see a true miracle unfold in front of you, it changes your entire life as you remember we the instruments through which the divine creates new worlds.  

And Buzzy, trying to find a cure for cystic fibrosis in order to save the lives of millions of children, would be dead from the disease in less then three months.

Little did I know I would be at his side in the hospital when he took his last breath!! Or that I would help him complete his master thesis from his hospital bed while he encouraged me to paint.

Buzzy became my mentor and guide from that second on and I never left him in person or thought for asecond. He changed the very course of my destiny and all I could do was follow this brilliant humanitarian not understanding why I was so fortunate to have met him.

Lori soon got another crush,  the bird still lives with her and all I can say is when angels call, follow them with your whole heart and soul and your inner light will begin to shine so bright, it will lighten all earths skies at night!
