War brings out the best of artists caught up in the trauma. Poets, too. The other day I saw the Spanish artist on television who traveled to Ukraine and was doing a mural on the wall of a subway shelter reminiscent of Picasso's Guernica.

BTW. Your painting of Janis Joplin captures her tortured mind on her face very well. She suffered a great deal for her art.
