"WE CHOOSE OUR LIVES THRU OUR THOUGHTS, WORDS AND DEEDS!"

I want to live in countries with the values in the article I just read;

"Why do Scandinavian Countries have Lower Poverty and Homeless rates than the USA and the UK?"

And the article goes on to read;

"The Scandinavian value set simply makes poverty and homelessness unacceptable."

"There​ is a culturally ingrained belief in the people that it is unacceptable to enjoy excesses while others suffer, and that those who have more than they need should help those in need."

Had I lived in a country following these noble ideals my book and writing about volunteering around the world helping the less fortunate would not have we been born.

Seeing suffering people living and dying on our streets moved my soul into pure compassion for others from which some of my writing was born.

I could have let another soul do what I felt was 'my mission' and I would have found other art and writing projects to do while living in a Scandanavian Country!

Yet my 'lower' ego has a hard time accepting there are many other souls willing and able to do what I am with my gifts but accepting that truth, frees me to let go of old ideas go for new ones at any moment.

A guide once said to me;

"Don't go back and finish that book. Someone else will..Go forward with your dreams. Write another book!"

My ego was screaming;

'What? Someone else can do exactly what I want to do and I can find another book idea, etc.?"

It is my belief that through our thoughts, words and actions we form our past, present and future lives. And every thought, word or action of ours is eternally stored in the universe.

Following my beliefs, a new freedom has emerged for me.

Yes my lower ego still kicks and screams that I am the only one that can do the artistic dreams that come to me, but life experience has shown me I am not the only one!

Remembering I am choosing my destiny has empowered my entire life.
