"The Bones of the Homeless Will Rise to Haunt Those That Had Closed Eyes"
by Judy Joy Jones
When I moved to San Francisco, seeing people eating out of garbage cans an
dying on the cold concrete streets made me sit down and weep. I watched as
people walked by, pretending not to see their Mother, Father, Sister and
Brothers in each soul crying for help.
I prayed with my heart, soul, mind,
body and spirit to die before ever, ever accepting fellow beings eating out
of garbage cans and dying from our neglect. I asked to be guided to open
hearts through sharing what I saw.
'The Bones of the Homeless Will Rise to Haunt Those With Closed Eyes'; my book with homeless photographs I took is my small way to join hearts
and hands with all people; helping make homelessness, history.
I am a freelance photojournalist and have chosen to spend my life shedding light on the plight of the poor dying in increasing numbers all over our earth.
My book is dedicated to Mother Teresa of Calcutta India; my Teacher, Father Norman Antonio, founder of Santa Maria Orphanage and to every tear shed by each homeless person on earth.

Continue to keep up your good work. The wealthy of this country have looked the other way too long. Everyone deserves a decent break and should be on the street, unproductive. Everyone has talent or two that will add to society. They just have to have support in getting there.
