My twin brother and I were the first of our extended family go to college in Wisconsin. We have been followed by many members of our extended family for three generations now, most of them in Wisconsin. It is still possible, if one works during summers, to go to college in Wisconsin and finish debt-free.

It will be wonderful if all three generations graduate at the same time. I do hope they have enough financial resources and scholarships to not have to wait out periods of time until they have enough to pay for everything. But if they live together off-campus they will save a lot of money related to that aspect.
